JC Taylor is a standup comedian/actor from Chicago and yes JC is my real name. He grew up in a big blended family and is the youngest of over 20 kids. He attended public schools until being transferred out because as his mom said, she wanted to save this kid from the streets. He ended up attending Catholic and Christian schools. Telling jokes and being funny has always been a survival tool JC used to survive the tough streets of Chicago. JC Taylor got his name from his father who worked as a sharecropper in Mississippi before moving to Chicago during the great migration. JC Taylor has always been driven to do what some told him he couldn't. He is his mothers only college graduate out of her 9 kids, worked as an on air radio personality, owned a restaurant, done numerous voiceovers and continues to pursue acting. JC's goal is to someday return to his hometown and help as much as he can to change his former environment. He has been involved in many charity events and enjoys helping people in need. JC has always been a big tv, movie and music lover. He sang in numerous gospel choirs and performed in plays and musicals. This triggered the passion and thirst for entertaining and even after raising his kids he still pursues his dream of being an actor. JC is a father of 8 from a blended family and considers himself a family man. He enjoys working out, fishing, bowling and cooking. You can catch JC Taylor performing his standup comedy all around Los Angeles and occasionally working in some of the hottest nightclubs as a security host. He has been called a gentle giant because of his size and smile, he's 6'3" and over 250 lbs. His comedy style is likable, humorous and looks like he's having fun on stage, he talks about everyday life and growing up.
